This stoneware rectangle is 11" x 7 3/8" x 1 3/4" overall height x 1 3/8" deep. This rustic rectangle is glazed with multiple layers of glaze and multiple firings. The base glaze is a toshi brown with layered silicon carbide and slip layers causing the dramatic volcanic rock effect. There was a lot of movement in the glaze as well as the clay resulting in an organic and relaxed form. The pot has wire tie and drainage holes.
